Can Birds Eat Grapes (Seedless Red/Green)?
Grapes are toxic to birds, with reports linking ingestion to acute renal failure and crop stasis in several avian species. The unknown toxin damages kidney tissue, and the fruit's high sugar and water content can also lead to diarrhea and yeast overgrowth. Even a small grape fed whole can cause choking or crop impaction. The risk of fatal nephrotoxicity makes grapes completely unsuitable for any parrot, finch, or canary, and they should be replaced with safe fruits like apple or blueberry.
